In the app: Go to a blog, tap the person icon, and then Ask.
To enable the ask feature on the web:
- Click “Settings” under the account menu at the top of the dashboard, then on the right side of the page, choose the blog you’d like to update.
- In the Ask section, enable “Let people ask questions.”
How do you ask questions on Tumblr?
Then, it’s simply a matter of clicking the Message icon to the top of the window. On the context menu that shows up, click Ask a Question.
